I second shot this cute lil backyard wedding for Callie Rainey Photography last summer. Lindsey’s relatives cleared out part of their backyard to create this intimate ceremony space. Her uncle built this gorgeous arbor using pieces of wood from the forest. The mismatched bridesmaid dresses with different tones and textures added a gorgeous pop of color to the sea of evergreen. The minimal white tablescapes and chairs complimented the outdoor environment. The organic decor and millions of twinkling lights really transformed the space into a romantic venue.
Second shooting is always so fun. I have a chance to photograph a different perspective from the main photographer, and I get to catch little moments that are happening behind the scenes – like this wedding crashing chicken, lol. She was cool though. I am actually terrified of birds so getting close to her was a little intense, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get the shot! I was so lucky to be able to focus on John’s face as his bride walked down the aisle. Such a beautiful and emotional moment I know Lindsey will cherish forever.
