Being a Pensacola Wedding Photographer in one of the most gorgeous small-town-vibe cities, creates a trendy environment to share with couples during their engagement sessions. So many small business ideas line the streets, and its really inspirational to be surrounded with all this city-like energy throughout your session. Chloe + Gino are not getting married in Pensacola, though. They are having a destination wedding in Mexico! So how do we bring a destination wedding vibe to Downtown Pensacola? I had to get creative with our locations throughout this session. Number one, there was Christmas decor everywhere- and their wedding is in the summer, so I wanted to minimize the Christmas spirit throughout their session, LOL. Number two, they are getting married on the beach, but wanted something a little different for their engagement session. When sending a save the date or engagement announcement, it is my personal preference to incorporate wedding colors or your wedding theme into the session. If you want to hang any images up during your bridal shower or rehearsal dinner, you will feel a connecting story line from the engagement session to your wedding day. I decided to tour them around to some downtown spots with natural elements and mediterranean architecture. The locations are familiar to Pensacola natives, but still embrace Chloe and Gino’s personalities and their upcoming wedding day!
I should have mentioned, these two are totally my spirit animals. Gino proposed at one of the most epic locations I have ever seen in Switzerland. How cool is that?! They love to explore together, so a destination made perfect sense for these two. Also, we all have a love/hate relationship with Tequila. But who has a wedding in Mexico and doesn’t incorporate some salt-on-the-rim action during their engagement session?!
