Engagement session spots in Pensacola usually consist of one of two elements – trendy downtown views, or romantic moments on the beach. Both are awesome, I photograph couples hanging in those places all the time! But including a stop at your favorite bar or restaurant breaks the ice- pun intended – between you and your photographer! Check out these fun sessions filled with tips and inspo for your next sesh!
#1 Summery drinks – Red Fish Blue Fish
Liquid courage – grab a drink! Starting your session off at your boo’s favorite bar is a great way to warm up. Relaxing with a brew will make them feel comfortable. I know I feel way more outgoing once I’ve had a drink in me!
#2 Brew Date – Perfect Plain Brewing Co.
Check out some of our local breweries. One of my favorites, that is new and aesthetically pleasing, is Perfect Plain Brewing Co.
#3 Ice Cream Date – Frios Pensacola
What do I do with my hands? If you’re worried about having a Ricky Bobby moment and getting stuck while posing in front of the camera, try holding something in your hands! You can hold your boo’s face, hand, waist, or some ice cream! This lil shop popped open earlier this year downtown and it’s filled with cute sitting areas, murals, and fun neon.
#4 Coffee Date – Constant Coffee + Tea
Share a cup of joe. Cuddling with a cup of joe is always super cute. Shake things up a bit by sitting on your babe’s lap- it makes a romantic moment fun and flirty! Check out Erin + Matt’s entire coffee sesh here.
#5 Taco Date – Al Fresco Dining
Tacos are always a good idea. Grab a Corona and toss chips at each other. Find a cute spot like Al Fresco dining downtown for photo-worthy outdoor seating.
#6 Wine Date – Perdido Vineyards
Try a new place. Macey and Chris trusted me to drive them to this old vineyard in a neighboring state and although the place was more of a history tour with non-alcoholic grape juice (apparently its illegal to distill wine in AL?), we still found adorable places to photograph! Traveling somewhere new can give your engagement session an adventurous feel!
