It’s crazy how completely normal the title of this blog post is right now. I have had over twenty couples postpone their wedding thanks to COVID. Although we are all freaking the f out about our plans changing, it’s super important to remember why you’re getting married in the first place. You can still celebrate this season with 5 romantic activities to do if you choose to postpone your wedding.

Have a couples photoshoot
Date nights are hard to come by since bars and restaurants are returning to take-out only. Let’s hang out and photograph you two in your home or in a field! Commemorate this moment in time together and forget the stress of wedding planning for a few hours.
Have some wedding cake
A way to celebrate this season is to enjoy small pieces of your wedding day. Support your vendors who are going through this pandemic with you. Order a tier of your wedding cake to celebrate your would-be wedding date at home. Pop some bubbly and practice your first dance.
Write out your vows
I loooove personal vows. Even when they are written on the drive to your elopement location and you basically forget all the rough drafts you had in your head (true story, this happened to me). If you were planning on saying your own vows or if you chose to exchange traditional words, grab a nice lil notebook and jot down some things you promise to each other right now at this moment in time. Keep the notebook and add to your vows every year, and read them as a reminder as you two grow together.
Have a boudoir photoshoot
Another romantic activity is to have a boudoir photoshoot. Whether it’s a gift for your boo or a fun bach party activity, my studio is open and my team is ready to glam you up for your boudoir photos.
