The past few weeks have been eye-opening for our industry. As we all open our hearts to understand and support the Black community, we also need to show up for our wedding industry.
Pensacola’s creative community and wedding vendors are diverse and open-minded, but sometimes, the rest of the South is not. Black representation is limited in wedding magazines and styled shoots. Unintentionally, I haven’t featured my BIPOC couples or Black-owned wedding vendors on social media or my website in a long time because it has been a while since I have photographed any. This changes now.
I want you all to know, that I will always support the Black community, and Love, Anneliese Photography will always be here to photograph your love- no matter your race, sexual orientation, or gender. ✊🏾✊🏽✊🏿✊🏼✊🏻🏳️🌈
I want to share some of my favorite vendors to work with, as well as some with raving reviews that are owned by incredibly talented Black men and women in our area.
Here are 11 Pensacola Black-Owned wedding businesses you should support.
This by no means begins to scratch the surface of the talent along the Emerald Coast! So please, comment below some of your favorite Black-owned businesses! I’d love to check them out!
